Lisa Olivia Munn is a resident of Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid was born in Vietnam and is of Chinese origins, however her father Winston Barrett Munn comes from the Southern part of the family. Her parents separated when she was two years old and she was a child of her stepfather and mother, an active member of the United States Air Force. The family emigrated to Oklahoma, and lived in several places, but she spent the bulk of her childhood in Tokyo. In this period, Olivia was a part of several theater productions. Then she was an Japanese model. Olivia moved from Japan to Los Angeles when her family eventually returned in the United States to follow her dream to be an actress. Following a handful of small performances and a few small roles, her career took off on another promising step when she landed the role in the role of Mily Acuna in the Hawaii-focused television show Beyond the Break (2006) and also the role of Rob Schneider's receptionist in Big Stan (2007). She hosts the popular podcasts "Formula D", "The Daily Nut" along with "The Daily Nut". Following the TV show Beyond the Break, she has continued to surf. Additionally, she holds a black belt in taekwondo. In the age of two, her mother got married. This time she married a US Air Force serviceman. Her family was primarily from Tokyo, Japan where her stepfather was a member. In the University of Oklahoma is where she studied journalism with minors in Japanese Drama, dramatic and arts.
