Angela Sargsyan was born on December 16, 1982, in Yerevan Armenia. Angela loved activities and played sports from a young age. The third year in her existence, she picked on figure skating and swimming. She continued to figure skate until she was thirteen. Angela was introduced to karate shortly after her she had mastered figure skating. She quickly became an experienced. She earned a silver medal when she was 14 years old at the 1996 Armenian Youth Full Contact Karate Championships held in Yerevan Armenia.
