Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, a Canadian-American singer and songwriter. Her catalog includes more than twenty albums. DiFranco's music has been classified as folk and alternative rock although it includes influences from punk funk hip beat and jazz. Ani DiFranco was the very first artist to launch her own record label in 1990. Ani is widely considered as a feminist icons. DiFranco was born on September 23, 1970 in the city of Buffalo in New York. She is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), who came across Dante Americo DiFranco while studying at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her mother and father were both from Montreal descent. Ani Difrasco wrote and recorded the track "32 Flavors". The track is available on the sixth album Not a Pretty Girl by Ani DiFranco that was which was released in the year 1996.
