Zoe-perry
Perry is Perry is a Chicago native who was born to Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. She made her first appearances in the television screen as Jackie Harris, a character that was played by her mother on Roseanne, an ABC sitcom Roseanne. However, her parents did not let her perform until she was an adult, for fear of the impact stress might have on their daughter. Perry states that she did not want to become an actor during highschool but decided to start acting as a social activity while at Northwestern University when she switched to it from Boston University. Perry went on to New York, where she got small roles on shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Homesickness then brought Perry her back home California, where theater jobs were readily available. Her mother and she appeared on Broadway together for the play The Other Place, in 2013. Perry was in the show with her father Kevin McKidd and Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning drama Anna Christie in 2015 at The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, West Los Angeles. In the year 2016, Perry appeared on nine episodes on ABC's drama The Family. Her father played her on the ABC show Scandal. In addition, she played the younger Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon - a CBS spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. The character was picked by auditions, even though she had a close relationship with the show.
