Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor and advocate for animal rights in America. Ali MacGraw is famous for movies such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. New York was her home and she was raised in an environment that was artistic. She began working as a photo assistant then turned to acting and modeling. MacGraw was noticed in two of her films and won the Golden Globe Award for Most promising newcomer. MacGraw became a global star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. In just three films MacGraw was named as the top female performer film in the history of box offices. Her footprints, handwritten in 1972 and autograph were engraved at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Her other credits include The Getaway Convoy Players, TV miniseries The Winds of War and other. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw was married three times.
